Radovan Jovanović, Capacity Building/Advocacy Advisor

Radovan Jovanović joined ISC Kosovo in November 2008 as a Capacity Building/Advocacy Advisor for the Kosovo Civil Society Strengthening Program (K-CSSP). Beside the Capacity Building and Advocacy role, his duties include work with minority NGOs on their development and integration in the Kosovo Civil Society.

Radovan has extensive experience in international organizations with 10 years of work in business and economic development, community development and infrastructure projects Kosovo wide.

Prior to ISC, Radovan was employed within the International Organization for Migration (IOM), holding managerial positions within several projects funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and European Agency for Reconstruction (EAR). His latest position was Deputy Chief of Party for a Community Enhancement and Development Program (CED), a community infrastructure development project, funded by the USAID. This was a two year project with budget of over $3.3 M USD. Before that he was holding a position of a Project Coordinator in three phases of the Support to Enterprise Development in Minority Regions (SEDMIN) and the Community Investment Project (CIP) programs, all funded by the EAR, with a total budget of over €4.2 M EURO.

During his work at IOM, Radovan was working on project proposal development, budget administration, managed work of 26 staff, and implemented 23 infrastructure, 107 community and 401 business projects. Part of his work required trainings, coaching and consulting for both groups and individuals, covering various topics from business related to community development.
