Bonnie Smoren joined ISC as Special Assistant to the President in October, 2008, and assumed the role of Operations Manager in February, 2010.

Previously, she worked at Project Harmony as a Program Coordinator, and later as a Program Manager for a technology and leadership program for high school students from the Former Soviet Union. Most recently, she worked as Executive Assistant at the non-profit Vermont Council on Rural Development. In this role, she supported the Executive Director and board as they pursued economic and community development opportunities, and advocated for policy initiatives in support of rural communities.

Smoren holds a bachelors degree in Philosophy from Trinity College of Vermont and resides in Montpelier.
