Stephen Ramsey is currently a Senior Fellow and Lecturer at the Yale School of Forestry and Environment and the Principal in Steve Ramsey Consulting LLC.

From 1990 to 2008, he served as Vice President of Corporate Environmental Programs at General Electric.

From 1985-90, Mr. Ramsey was a partner at Sidley &Austin in Washington, DC specializing in environmental counseling and litigation.

Mr. Ramsey worked at the U.S. Department of Justice from 1978-85 where he was the first Chief of the Environmental Enforcement Section.

Mr. Ramsey received the Attorney General's Distinguished Service Award in 1983 and in 2007 received an award for Excellence in Environmental and Natural Resources Stewardship from the Environment, Energy and Resources Section of the American Bar Association.

Mr. Ramsey attended Princeton University and the University of Texas School of Law.
