PBS's NewsHour highlights ISC's Environment, Health and Safety Academy

April 12, 2011

In a segment called China Weighs Environmental Concerns Against Economic Growth, PBS's NewsHour discusses the profound impact that China's industrial growth has had on the environment and greenhouse gas emissions — and how ISC is working to change that through our EHS Academies.

ISC's EHS Academies have already trained 2,300 factory managers and will soon train 4,000 annually. Through these efforts, ISC is helping accelerate China's transition to a low-carbon economy by equipping factory managers with the advanced skills they need to boost EHS compliance, rein in energy use, and achieve significant reductions in toxic pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
