ISC has established a China Earthquake Recovery Fund to aid the communities devastated by the earthquake that struck China on Monday, May 12, with some 10 million people directly affected.

Donations to this fund will go to local Chinese organizations working on the ground to help earthquake survivors.

Officials now estimate that more than 19,000 people have been killed, warning that the number could rise to 50,000. Thousands more are missing. Conditions in the mountainous region are very challenging, with limited access to food and clean water, and an enormous need for shelter and medical care.
